Facility Description

"Arashiyama" in Kyoto is said to have been so named because the cherry blossoms and maples on the peaks are blown away by the "Atago Oroshi" winds that blow down from Mount Atago in the west of Kyoto. The station features about 600 poles made using "Yuzen" dyeing to resemble a forest, and the station space is designed to create a landscape enveloped in soft, beautiful light.
