Facility Description

At the Nishijin Textile Center, we hold a "Kimono Show" every day to fully showcase the beauty of gorgeous Japanese clothing, and we also have a permanent exhibition introducing Nishijin textiles and historical materials. You can also enjoy live production demonstrations that introduce traditional craftsmanship, or a short experience of making your own. You can fully enjoy the traditional beauty and techniques unique to this production area, and we also hold classes on how to wear kimonos and how to wear Japanese clothing.
