Facility Description

As the station name suggests, Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine is located nearby, and the station is crowded with many visitors during the New Year holidays. The station is also unique in that the fences and pillars on the platform are painted vermilion in the image of Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. On the approach from the station to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, souvenir shops such as "Inari sushi" and "Inari rice crackers" are lined up, and Fushimi Inari dolls are a particularly famous souvenir from Inari pilgrimages.
