Facility Description

This Keihan Electric Railway station is located at the east end of Sanjo Ohashi Bridge, the western starting point of the Tokaido Highway over the Kamo River. Until the Keihan Oto Line opened from Sanjo to Demachiyanagi in 1989, it also served as the starting and ending point for Keihan trains to Kyoto. Even now, it remains a transportation hub with easy access to Sanjo Keihan Station on the Tozai Subway Line and a bus terminal.
